Ah can you believe this was the first time we’ve been all together as a family in the Philippines? Long overdue, and especially meaningful that we could spend this time together celebrating a milestone birthday.
We spent most of our time in Cebu in a small town called Oslob, because we wanted to see whale sharks! The marine life was honestly so cool, not just whale sharks, but the starfish, crabs, sea urchin, anemones, coral, and much more. I explored the beach every day and went to sleep to the sound of waves crashing every night. It was also really nice to spend time with family watching sunrises, eating local food, and exploring the old town.
I also brought a disposable camera and got some cool photos on film!
Something about film makes my heart kind of hurt? Like in a happy, nostalgic way.
