Oh hello again,
Here’s my month in review:
1. Got paid to hang out with a very cute dog for a week, and we experienced our first east coast earthquake together.

2. Watched an eclipse and looked at pretty flowers (spring 🥲).

3. Returned to Pittsburgh after 6 years for Carnival (I missed a flight for the first time trying to get there haha).

4. Had many fun food adventures, including witnessing the Haidilao dancing noodle for the first time (not pictured).

5. And, at long last, visited Dia Beacon!!

Have you ever received upsetting, tragic news that made you wonder how some things could possibly be within God’s will? That’s where I’ve been lately, feeling a bit faith-shaken and viscerally aware of the brevity of life, and also hoping that this faith is indeed worth it, that God is truly good, that eternity really awaits us.

I never thought of myself as a hugger, but these days whenever I see my family or friends, even the ones that aren’t particularly close, I just want to grab them and hold them real tight, because you never really know when’s the last time you’ll see them.
-M
P.S. Come play tennis with me 🙂
